The Consumer Packaging Divisionis now seeking a Part Time Automation Technician to be located in Solvay, NY on weekends.
Perform all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance as set forth in machine manuals and by company policy pertaining to automated equipment
Essential Duties and Responsibilities?- include the following.?- Other duties may be assigned.
?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?- Keep automation operational and be only floor support for automation equipment, once training is complete
?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?- Support production floor(s) by answering emergency equipment down requests, including gathering information as needed from equipment operators in a professional manner.
?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?- Assist in rebuilding equipment as time allows
?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?- Preventative maintenance on all automation equipment and clean automation equipment
?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?- Perform job requirements in professional manner with emphasis on safety and quality
?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?- Complete Lockout Tagout training
?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?- Keep the entire areas of responsibility clean

Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), and three to five years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
The ideal candidate must be able to use Windows based computer interfaces and make observations of the equipment performance and make adjustments with the interface.?- All of our systems are driven by computers and HMI's.?- This candidate must have the ability to troubleshoot and make adjustments on a daily basis, after training is complete.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.?- Ability to deal with problems involving several variables.
