Detailed Job Description:

Responsibilities include:

Daily electronic report monitoring and distribution-department critical, requires handling sensitive and confidential information.

Audits daily incident reports and verifies output documents are accurate and accounted for.

Receives monies from insurance companies and follows internal protocols for accounting.

Audits and files monthly safety and security inspection reports.

Operates desk top computer and specialized software programs.

Daily property control inventory; includes purging and monitoring the on-line lost and found system; contacting rightful owners; audits property records; writes reports

Engages with customers daily seeking department assistance.

Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

Writes non-criminal incident reports; PCRs, and related reports.

Sends survey requests to customers and reporting persons; monitors the Public Safety welcome window; contact with dispatch to assign calls for service that arrive at the reception area

Provides back up to Sr. Staff assistant including scheduling appointments for students, faculty, and staff.

Trained to be a call-taker in the emergency communications area when call volume exceeds capacity.

Daily preparation of the federal compliance logs on a daily basis and ensures accuracy and proper disposition.
