Med-Scribe is seeking an experienced medical secretary to join a specialty practice that has been serving the Rochester community for over 30 years! Join an established team dedicated in providing quality care to their patients.
In this role you will be providing administrative support to a very busy practice with multiple locations. There are 5 locations throughout the Rochester area. You must be flexible to travel to any of the locations as needed to provide coverage. You will be given a home office; however, you must be open to working, and training, at all of the locations. Your home office will be based on the best fit for you and the practice.
Primary job duties include:
• Answering the phones
• Patient check in/out
• Scheduling appointments for all 13 providers and 5 locations
• Verifying demographics, labs, and x-rays
• Triaging messages to the providers
• Verifying insurances
• Any other related duties, as assigned
Days/Hours: Monday through Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM during training. After training, an 8 hour shift between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Flexibility to work 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, if available.
Salary: Depends on Experience. Benefits available on hire.
Minimum Qualifications for this position: 1 year of previous medical office experience required. Previous EMR system experience required, Medent preferred.
