Basil's Small Business/Fleet Sales Rep presents new and pre-owned vehicles to customers in an attractive and highly informative fashion which promotes a prompt sale while maintaining a strong, continued relationship with customers to encourage networking and repeat business.
Commercial Truck Sales includes....
Maintain a steady supply of hot prospects at all times
Maintain a continuous follow-up system
Work closely with sales manager in all steps of the deal
Use telephone and email effectively to seek and obtain appointments with prospects
Engage in conversation and build rapport with our existing commercial fleet customers
Cold call and visit local businesses inquiring about their current fleet program and offer information on our products and our dealership.
Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma, previous sales experience (in any industry), excellent customer service skills, confident and outgoing personality, professional appearance, proven communication skills, the ability to deliver world-class customer service, and a willingness to continuously prospect to sell a minimum quota in an ongoing basis.
Paid training on products, services, and process will be provided.
Help customer with vehicle selection and promotes model options and features, value-add products and services, and purchase and finance options following dealership policies
Conduct vehicle test drives
Negotiate sale in a clear, concise, and highly ethical fashion
Facilitate delivery by providing a clear explanation of vehicle and features operation, warranty, and servicing requirements
Maintain accurate sales documentation + updated database information
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all vehicles, accessories, financing options, and promotions
Guides customers in filling out all appropriate paperwork
Handles customer complaints immediately and according to the dealership's guidelines
Participate in product and sales training courses as required by dealership and/or manufacturer
Perform other duties as assigned
High school diploma or GED preferred
Verifiable sales performance (any industry)
Demonstrated ability to close sales
Neat, clean, and professional appearance
Proven interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff
Strong communication skills, verbal + written
Computer and technology literacy
Unrestricted driver's license + clean driving record
Successful completion of pre-employment physical, background check, hair-follicle drug test
