CIBC World Markets Director, Index Structuring in New York, New York
CIBC World Markets seeks a Director, Index Structuring to be responsible for developing client quantitative investment strategies, including financial analysis generation and implementation, collaboration with Global Distribution and Trading teams, technical analysis, and support to client requests. Drive systematic index development process with in asset classes including commodities, fixed income, foreign exchange and equity markets. Work with major institutional and private clients, including large sovereign wealth funds, asset managers, and pension funds in multiple regions for pitching strategies and gathering requirements.
Position requires a Master’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Financial Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of financial analysis of pricing, product creation, and trading strategies as related to commodity sales and trading for both of derivatives and index products. Experience must include: 5 years of experience with financial analysis for major institutional and private clients, including large sovereign wealth funds, asset managers, and pension funds in multiple regions for pitching strategies and gathering requirement; 5 years of experience with commodity derivatives idea generation and pricing; 3 years of experience with commodity index product generation and development; 3 years of experience with systematic index marketing, customization, technical analysis, and support to clients; 3 years of experience with financial analysis and database management with multiple data sources using Excel, VBA, Bloomberg, and SQL; and 3 years of experience with trading in the futures market with large institutional clients.
