Position Title: Senior Analyst Diversity & Inclusion

Position Summary

The Senior Analyst Diversity & Inclusion reports to the Manager Diversity & Inclusion and will partner on the execution of diversity and inclusion programs that serve and engage a varied mix of Crewmembers, Customers and Communities. The Senior Analyst supports strategy development, cultural awareness workshops, Crewmember Resource Groups, and communicating our diversity and inclusion journey.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Inform the cross-functional development and implementation of Diversity & Inclusion strategies and initiatives through program research and design.

  • Manage the daily operational management of Crewmember Resource Groups (Employee/Business Resource Groups or Networks externally), including but not limited to assessing leadership needs, advising CRG leaders, delivering programs and services to meet those needs, and maintenance of cross-CRG communication tools.

  • Lead program management including, but not limited to: program planning, creating event documentation (e.g. run of show, attendee materials, shot lists, and event recaps), sourcing venues, and providing guidance to the team coordinator regarding other logistics.

  • Manage the design and production of print and digital D&I materials to promote JetBlue’s diversity and inclusion initiatives including, but not limited to: presentations, newsletters, annual reports, press releases, blog posts, collateral, promotional materials, email blasts, articles, etc.

  • Serve as an ambassador for JetBlue’s commitment to Diversity & Inclusion internally and externally.

  • Serve as a mentor to Analysts and Interns on the Talent Management and Diversity Team.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Hospitality, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Psychology, Adult Education or related field with interest in Diversity & Inclusion and/or Intercultural Relations.

  • Three (3) years General Business, Consulting and/or Human Resources experience.

  • Solid experience managing programs, particularly as related to areas such as career development, employee resource groups, and/or volunteerism.

  • Strong research, analytical, problem-solving and decision making capabilities.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and diplomacy.

  • Effective written and verbal skills with particular attention to detail in composing data reports, presentations, editing and proofreading.

  • Experience presenting to audiences representing various levels of the workforce.

  • Experience designing and delivering creative programs that drive cross-cultural competence.

  • Ability to nurture relationships with people of diverse backgrounds at different levels within an organization.

  • Strong customer service orientation with a team player mindset and ability to be flexible, work independently, prioritize, and multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (including but not limited to PowerPoint, Word, and Excel).

  • Available for occasional international and/or domestic overnight travel (20%).

  • In possession of valid travel documents with the ability to travel and out of the United States.

  • Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test.

  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Business, HR or I/O Psychology, Psychology, Communications, Marketing, Intercultural Studies or Adult Education.

  • One (1) year Communication, Journalism, Marketing, and/or Event Management experience in the Airlines industry or a general corporate setting.

  • Project management certification.

  • Diversity recruiting certification.

  • Familiarity with graphic design and tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and SharePoint.

  • Experience designing and delivering creative programs that drive cross-cultural competence.

  • Ability to nurture relationships with people of diverse backgrounds at different levels within an organization.

  • Knowledge of event planning and event management methods.

  • Written and verbal fluency in Spanish

Crewmember Expectations:

  • Regular attendance and punctuality.

  • Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice.

  • Well groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance.

  • When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft.

  • Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the JetBlue culture, that is, exhibit the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Fun and Passion.

  • Promote JetBlue’s #1 value of safety as a Safety Ambassador, supporting JetBlue’s Safety Management System (SMS) components, Safety Policy and behavioral standards

  • Identify safety concerns, issues, incidents or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlue’s confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report(SAR))
