Scheduling coordinator for UMH Licensed Home Care Agency.

Requires good communication skills with agency clients and licensed agency staff.

Possess strong computer and organizational skills.

Maintain the ability to make sound decisions with scheduling multiple clients, staff and various schedules for CHHAs, Companions and nurses.

Hours: Full time, day shift

  • Schedules personnel coverage to ensure provision of optimal resident care every day.

  • Keeps up to date list of all employees and their phone numbers.

  • Processes time off requests.

  • Monitors attendance and bonus time.

  • Understands and follows all HIPAA Guidelines.

  • Arrange for immediate staff coverage in the event of call-outs.

  • Works collaboratively with all members of the department team.

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Strong MS Office experience (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Experience with scheduling software a plus

  • Experience with payroll software a plus

  • Billing and coding experience preferred
