Job Description

Directs and controls the work activities of subordinate personnel of production department(s). Supervises production workers who are responsible for manufacturing assemblies and sub-assemblies in accordance with operation sheets and standard operating procedures. Monitors work activates and ensures timely work order execution. Coordinates and assigns work to manufacturing associates to achieve daily production and quality goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following and other duties as assigned

  • Supervise manufacturing and assembly operations to meet production schedules within established Company policies and standards

  • Schedule and train production personnel to meet production schedules

  • Checks assembly throughout the day to maintain efficient workflow

  • Ensures Company safety policies are being followed

  • Contributes to the creation and maintenance of the daily Production Reports.

  • Assists the Production Manager as needed and plans, assigns, and monitors the work of employees

  • Maintain goals in productivity and quality

  • Interface with Technical Support, Quality, and Engineering

  • Communicate and inform employees on Company policies, rules, changes, and keeping an open line of communication between employees and upper management

Required Skills

EDUCATION: Bachelors degree preferred

EXPERIENCE: 10-12 years related experience combined with 2 years supervisory experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

OTHER: Computer knowledge. Must able to use Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and experience with Oracle a plus.
