Tradebe is a global environmental services company with a growing presence in the U.S. The company has been present in the U.S. since 2004 and has grown significantly over the last 5 years, through organic growth and acquisitions. We currently operate a network of treatment and recycling plants in the U.S. processing over 500,000 tons a year, reclaiming valuable products using a range of advanced processes and technologies.
The company owns and operates the Norlite facility, located in Cohoes, NY. This facility extracts shale from its quarry for processing at its two rotary kilns, to produce an expanded shale product sold as Light Weight Aggregate to the construction sector. The facility uses waste to fuel its process.

We are seeking an individual to maintain the production and quality of Kiln Plant Equipment by completing preventive and predictive maintenance as needed. The selected candidate will be responsible for the operation of our Waste Water Treatment Plant equipment; will diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct issues; and will operate a variety of hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, and cut as needed. Individual will perform routine maintenance on equipment; and will make corrections and repairs as necessary to follow MSHA requirements. The work schedule for this position will be Thursday 1:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., and Friday and Saturday 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
A high school diploma or the equivalent. and three to five years of experience are required. The selected candidate must have experience the installing and tracking of belts and chains; must have valid driver's license; and must be able to work in elevated and difficult positions. Individual must also be able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and sketches; and have the ability read equipment prints, and to secure information from OEM manuals. The selected candidate must successfully pass pre-employment (post offer), drug screen, and background check.
