Graphic Controls AB- Maintenance Mechanic in Buffalo, New York

Buffalo. Maintenance Mechanic. 2nd Shift. This position will be designated to the ECG department. FT. 2nd shift. 37.5 hrs./wk. Benefits. 1 opening.

Responsible for providing highly skilled mechanical support to manufacturing including PM's, tooling, machine repair, machining, and also providing training and guidance on these tasks to B and C level mechanics.

GED or High School Diploma
5 to 7 years mechanic experience within a manufacturing setting with advanced level skills.
Must have completed of Technical/Mechanical training courses/certificates.

Basic reading, math, and direction following skills.
Must be able to read, comprehend, and execute production orders and operating procedures.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment.

Mechanical aptitude with a strong desire to learn and advance to higher level maintenance positions.
Knowledge of manufacturing standards, regulations, and procedures.
Thorough knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes specific to Graphic Controls.
General Electrical, Mechanical, and Hydraulic Troubleshooting Skills
Ability to operate fork truck and man-lift equipment.
Advanced machining skills.
Advanced pneumatic and hydraulic knowledge.
Ability to follow directions and provide training to lower level mechanics.
Knowledge of CMMS.
Knowledge of PM programs.
Advanced knowledge of continuous improvement initiatives.
Basic engineering knowledge.
Basic continuous improvement knowledge.
