Lourdes Hospital, part of Ascension, has provided compassionate care to those in need since 1925. In Binghamton, N.Y., the main hospital campus includes a Hospice Program, an Ambulatory Surgery Center, and a Regional Cancer Center. Reaching beyond these boundaries, Lourdes has established a network of primary care physicians at convenient sites throughout the region. The Mission In Motion program, which provides primary care and cancer screening services through two mobile medical vans, makes healthcare accessible to rural populations.
The Inventory Control Clerk monitors, orders, stocks, and transports supplies and/or equipment for the organization.

Ensures timely delivery of stock/inventory as needed.
Investigates and troubleshoots inventory issues/problems.
Maintains accurate tracking records for inventory.
Engages customers on a regular basis to ensure good service. This requires the necessary professional presence to effectively interact with clinicians, administrators, colleagues, and vendors.
Ensures stock expiration is minimized with adherence to stock rotation guidelines and best practice.
Work with appropriate parties to ensure optimum inventory levels, consistent with department financial goals, to minimize manual requisition entry.
Independently counts assigned inventory locations, picks ordered items from Store Room if necessary, and delivers to final inventory storage areas timely and accurately.
Education & Work Experience:
HS or Equivalent
Six (6) months related experience required.
