RN CRITICAL CARE TRAINING PROGRAM - ST.PETER'S HOSPITAL, ALBANY NY ,
FULL TIME POSITION, SIGN ON BONUS TO EXPERIENCED RNS
We are searching for Registered Nurses interested in continuing their careers in Critical Care nursing. We will provide intensive and supportive 16 week on-the-job training for those coming to Critical Care: ICU, CCU, CVICU.
The program is a 16 week program for RNs with at least one year of experience (BSN preferred) that utilizes a blended learning approach i.e. 2 days (divided times) online learning (Essentials of Critical Care Orientation Modules), hands-on workshops for skills and 3 days of precepted clinical experience (staff preceptors) each week and simulation. The program is rigorous. Upon successful completion of the 16 weeks, there is 8 weeks of precepted clinical experience. From there, they meet every 3 months for a workshop through the first year.

-One year of nursing experience (med surg and tele strongly recommended).
-Current NYS RN license.
