- About the Immunoassay Manager role within ICON: *
The Immunoassay Manager will provide operational management of the Immunoassay and/or Bioassay Laboratory, interact with management and project leaders over practical and specific aspects of studies and serve as the main point of communication for scientific related matters. Will supervise, train and develop laboratory staff and effectively manage the department budget ensuring appropriate equipment and resource is available in order to fulfil commitments to clients.
The Immunoassay Manager will present information regarding the background and laboratory related issues of the study to all laboratory staff prior to study start, attend client meetings, and any other relevant study related meetings, and produce any study specific documents as required.
The Immunoassay Manager will provide validation of analytical methods, analyze clinical and preclinical samples, ensure timely analysis, review and maintain laboratory SOPs and other controlled documentation, and adhere to GLP and the SOPs pertaining to all areas of laboratory work acquired.

- To succeed you will need:*
You will need Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in relevant biological disciplines along with in depth proven (5-7 years) leadership experience working as part of a bioanalytical environment (or equivalent) where there was an emphasis on production of high quality results.* * Good understanding and experience of analytical procedures and general laboratory experience, good computer skills, experience of GLP or other Quality systems, good written record keeping and verbal communication skills, ability to follow precise written and verbal instructions accurately and good organization skills.
