Solution Sales Director – BT Radianz (Americas)

Division: BT Radianz Cloud supports many thousands of financial customers globally, providing connectivity to over 400 of the world’s leading financial service providers including brokers, exchanges, market data sources, analytics, clearing firms, and other financial services providers.
The role holder is a strategic sales professional, responsible for representing the company and selling its products, services and most importantly hosted solutions in BT Radianz. The focus of the role will be to drive new business with responsibility to own, lead and drive sales into existing accounts. The role holder will also be expected to focus on hunting and prospecting for new business. The role holder will have a technical understanding of BT Radianz’ portfolio to be able to tailor solutions to customer requirements. He/she stays abreast of the latest sales and financial markets developments and contributes to the functional Radianz hosting strategy by applying this within the organization.
The role holder is responsible for the development of hosted solution sales addressing the needs of BT’s Radianz customers and manages activities related to identifying business opportunities. He/she evaluates information and develops recommendations for new projects and initiatives.
What you’ll be doing
Focused on hunting and building new relationships and revenue streams.
To operate and aim to achieve a revenue and ICV number that is set against the Radianz target.
To make a significant contribution to company's sales revenue with focus on hosted solutions.
Forecasting business and market needs, and may well operate on a multi-country or multi-product basis.
To establish key customer relationships in support of the customer contact strategy.
To understand customer requirements and offer solutions tailored to their needs (incl. up-/cross-sell where appropriate)
May assist in training/coaching.
To follow the latest trends and developments in financial markets.
To perform all analysis related to the feasibility and probability of success of new business opportunities.
To establish and maintain good working relationships with financial experts and senior decision-makers in targeted companies within the financial market industry.
To lead and negotiate in some projects where teams are formed across LoBs and/or cultures, probably in the form of either virtual or matrix teams.
We’ll also need to see this on your resume:
Must have excellent knowledge and experience of capital markets. This includes an in depth knowledge of trading, market data and capital markets regulation
Strong technical understanding of trading infrastructure and technology
Experience of consistently meeting/ exceeding revenue, ICV, EBIT targets.
Ability to interact successfully with senior executives
Significant experience within the sales environment, in particular solutions sales in financial markets.
Sound technical understanding of BT Radianz’ products and services.
Very good understanding of financial markets and business drivers within.
Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
Experienced professional within an organization.
Able to lead in some projects.
Able to provide, analytical and innovative thinking with respect to casework / projects.
Educated to degree level, or relevant job experience.
