Parsons is seeking a Construction Scheduler for long term opportunity at a NYC Agency with $15 Billion Capital
Program. This role is part of a growing Project Controls team overseeing the project scheduling and progress reporting on 200 active infrastructure projects ranging from $1 million to $2 billion.

The ConstructionScheduler will provide centralized Planning/Scheduling on one or more larger projects. Under general supervision, the individual competently performs all aspects of scheduling, cost analysis, and field project assignments according to training, capability and experience.

Qualifications:

PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
4-year degree in Engineering or Construction Management (or related field) and 3-5 years as a scheduler on active construction projects. Heavy civil, industrial, or water/wastewater construction preferred.

• Experienced reading and understanding construction drawings and specifications.
• Experienced in technical analysis of project schedules, schedule updates, and earned value.
• Experienced with Primavera Project Planner P3 and P6.
• Field experience on active construction projects and leading construction meetings.
• Familiar with typical construction related documents and correspondence.
• Experienced preparing monthly project schedule status reports for management.
• Familiar with schedule delay analysis, time impact analysis, and evaluation of overall project progress.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
