  • Develop and maintain direct lender relationships that allow us to serve our full client base

  • Work with our sales team throughout the sales process to find their clients the best choice for financing

  • Offer vehicle financing and insurance to clients and provide them with athorough explanation of aftermarket products and extended warranties.

  • Seek new lending institutions and maintaining good working relationships to secure competitive interest rates and financing programs

  • Process financing and leasing deals accurately, working with financial sources to secure approval and through the proper federal, state and corporate channels

  • Understand and comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect the new and used-vehicle and finance departments

  • Create and maintain a program with the sales department that will ensure all new sales are referred to the F&I department

  • Train and provide the sales team with information on finance and lease programs as well as the benefits of the dealership’s financing and extended service programs

  • Maintain the profitability of thedepartment while controlling expenses and maintaining customer satisfaction

  • A strong background in business, mathematics, marketing and computers is also useful


  • Proven history of success in F&I

  • Two years of automotive sales experience and one year in a dealership management positionBasic MS Office knowledge; computer software and internet proficiency

  • Excellent verbal/written communication, strong negotiation and presentation skills
