Description:

The Finance Risk Infrastructure [FRI] group is an organization that was created in Feb 2016 that brought together activities that support that support the Risk and Finance. The Business Architecture and Transformation group within FRI will partner with the Global Process Owners (GPO) in process standardization and design, ensuring these processes are enabled through standard data and technology platforms. This group will provide a single interface to technology for Finance and Risk strategic initiatives which will allow for one integrated view of the Risk/Finance technology design and architecture and prioritization of technology initiatives, and with our Technology partners (GFTS), drive to a common infrastructure.

The objective of this position is to continue to develop the combined Risk/Finance architecture that can be the basis of prioritization, direction, planning and strategic direction. This work will involve defining information and process requirements will be developed Global Process Owners, Operations (FRO) and Technology. This architecture is then the basis of prioritization of investment, direction, planning and strategic direction. The job will entail supporting active Transformation programs across Risk and Finance as well as defining and delivery of Enterprise Data Standards and models.

Key Position Responsibilities for any individual performing this role will be:

  • Project Management responsibilities for Part 30 include:

  • Read and understand and adhere to the Finance & Risk Infrastructure Program Management Office (FRI PMO) Charter and policies

  • Organization Charter

  • Collect, define and document preliminary requirements

  • Produce feasibility and cost benefit analysis papers

  • Produce, communicate and maintain Project Plans, KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), Success Criteria, etc.

  • Produce, manage, track and communicate Test Plans and Test scripts by working with business

  • Manage UAT; plan, schedule, and assign resources User Acceptance Test

  • Manage, organize and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities

  • Write Actions and Minutes when required and maintain Process and Procedures

  • Prepare Status and Senior Management updates and escalate to keep projects on track when necessary

  • Provide updates to all relevant supporting Systems: RET (Regulatory Exam Tracker) iCAPS (Integrated Corrective Action Plan System), PTS (Portfolio Tracking System), LPMT (Lean Project Management Tool)

  • Communicate effectively and efficiently to: identify project issues and risk, ensure prioritization of resources, propose effective solutions and follow through until resolution.

  • Work productively and intelligently with other areas to produce results and stay on or ahead of project schedule

  • Perform all responsibilities and actions in accord with System and Program Governance

  • Determine and deliver on impactful solutions that optimize time to market and resource cost

Qualifications

The incumbent is expected to have experience and an understanding of financial services in one of these disciplines; Treasury, Risk, Finance/FP&A.

Knowledge of Citigroup Processes, Systems, Reporting obligations (both Internal & External) and Products is desirable since the transition stems from current local processes into a seamless global one.

Proven ability to engage and interact with senior business and technology colleagues is a requirement. An ability to understand business needs and processes, determine common patterns or data structures and to translate them into an overall architecture is essential.

  • Extensive experience in Financial Services, within or outside of Citi but strong preference for candidates with Finance, Risk and Technology Banking experience

  • Demonstrable record of success in a similar capacity

  • History of Strong Technical skills and ability to communicate with Developers

  • Real-world experience across the project lifecycle, including; SDLC, analysis, design, development, testing and implementation.

  • Advanced MS Office skills; Excel, Access, Project, Visio, Power Point, Word

An analytical, process orientation is essential. The effective use of information and technology to meet business needs is required. Must be Technical and willing to research and learn. Excellent written and oral communication skills are a precondition for the job.
