The Chief Administrative Office Operations team supports compliance, and manages and maintains reference data to ensure that our customers, employees, and lines of business are in adherence with firm standards and required regulations.

The CAO Ops Controls & Quality Assurance Business Manager will partner across the global team as well as with the CAO Ops Business Management Team in support of the organization to aide in driving strategic decisions impacting governance, priorities, budget, forecast, controls, and overall direction of the group. The role interacts extensively with the senior leads across organization, business leads, corporate support groups and peer group business managers across CAO Operations.

Key Responsibilities and Skills:

  • Partner with CAO Ops leads to provide direction, advice and analytics across the team to ensure key headcount, financial, and delivery targets and analytics are well-understood and managed

  • Assist in driving overall strategic agenda and prioritization process

  • Help to drive town halls, off-sites, and weekly management meetings

  • Support creation of executive level presentations on strategy, budget, project delivery, controls, risks, etc.

  • Provide senior management reporting, communication and client reporting, focusing on the overall business unit performance against objectives; proactively highlight issues and risks to the objectives, derive solutions and drive remedies to completion

  • Partner with other functional business managers across CAO Ops to incorporate and agree upon best practices

  • Program Management and Reporting - participate in leadership meetings and agendas (Sr. Leader calls, Town Halls) and develop senior management reports as required for internal or external audiences

  • Performance Management and Annual Planning - participate in strategic and operational planning; assemble annual plan including goals and related success measures; provide detail for resource requirements and associated expenses

  • Department Logistics - coordination for administrative functions within the CAO Operations organization

  • Location Strategy - assist in tracking real estate footprint globally and coordinating moves and additional seats required across all locations

  • Ad-hoc project work as directed

  • 5+ years of related experience including finance, business management and/or compliance related

  • Demonstrated experience forecasting, tracking and planning financials (headcount, expenses, P&L)

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing demands

  • Clear communication skills, and the ability to articulate complex issues concisely

  • Excellent presentation skills

  • Demonstrated proficiency/advanced skills using Excel and PowerPoint

  • Leadership, relationship-building and influencing skills to drive agenda's across a number of functions

  • Bachelor degree with preference in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
